Colonial Acres features many higher-end houses, with properties that range from charming two-story family homes to huge executive estates. The streets are wide and quiet, with gorgeous 30-foot trees throughout the area. The lots are quite large for Waterloo, with large front and backyards to offer a comfortable distance from your neighbors.
The neighbors are a nice blend of young, active families and retired couples, often seen out biking, walking their dogs or playing in Andale Park.
The neighbourhood does not have a school within its boundaries, so public school children are bussed to Lester B. Pearson, offering grades 1-6 French immersion.
